North East Physiotherapy – Quality Assured
Our Wangaratta Clinic was accredited in 2009 by Australia’s leading health care accreditation company, Quality In Practice Pty. Ltd. (QIP). Accreditation recognises the achievements of health care teams to meet the requirements of established standards.
We genuinely strive for continuous quality improvement. We continue to invest heavily in developing our systems to enable us to monitor and upgrade the services we provide. These are built around the rights and needs of clients, professional development, practice management, and the physical facilities of the practice.
The aim of continuous quality improvement is to make substantial and sustained improvements in the quality of care to ultimately produce better health outcomes for our clients.
All of our Physiotherapists have a strong commitment to providing quality healthcare. As well as subscribing to the Australian Physiotherapy Association’s Code Of Conduct, our staff routinely undertake continuing professional development programs, which is your guarantee that the services and techniques on offer are current and best-practice.
Evidence Based and Outcome Focused
Evidence-based Physiotherapy is diagnosis and management informed by relevant, high quality clinical research. Clinical decision-making utilises information from best practice clinical research. This is performed in combination with a patient history, and their clinical findings. It includes the lifestyle needs of the person, so we can offer a holistic solution in client management.
Our Physiotherapists regularly use outcome measures (tools to measure impairment) to determine treatment decisions. This ensures our clients receive the best possible clinical result. Outcome measures used at North East Physiotherapy are related to the functional goals of treatment and are relevant to the patient’s injury.
